Can I apply my Carnival gift card towards my booking as an on-board credit prior to embarking the ship?

Carnival gift cards cannot be used towards the booking of your reservation, but can be used for any on-board purchases. However, application of funds can only occur once you’ve boarded the ship.  To apply your gift card as an on-board credit, please do so when you board the ship at the Guest Services Desk.
