Carolina Country Music Cruise FAQs Updated 8.24.18

What documentation do I need to cruise?
When cruising you do not HAVE to have a passport but that may change.  What you will need is your Birth Certificate with a raised seal (from the courthouse not the hospital, baby feet don’t fly) and a valid government issued photo I.D. or a valid passport with 3 months validity after travel.

When will the Carolina Country Music Cruise be on sale?
September 14, 2018. You can purchase online at ccmfcruise.com or you can call Imagine Travel at: (855) 497.4658.

What do I have to do to get CCMF Alumni status?
If you are a CCMF ticket holder as of September 9, 2018 (ccmf.com), or have purchased at ticket to CCMF in the past years, and have opted in to receive promotional emails from CCMF, you will receive a special intro email offer for early bird cruise pricing and be the first to book before the cruise goes on sale to the public, September 14, 2018.

When will the artists be announced for the CCMC cruise?
Very soon! Just like our famous music festival, Carolina Country Music Fest, we announce the artists throughout the year but all our CCMFers know we don’t disappoint! When the early bird pricing goes on sale September 14, our artists will not yet be announced but don’t let that stop you. It will never be this low again and once the early bird cabins are gone, there gone!

What is the schedule for the cruise?
Day 1: We depart from the ports of Charleston, SC and start our epic voyage to the Caribbean aboard the beautiful Carnival Sunshine.
Day 2: We spend a full day at sea, partying it up the CCMF way; jam packed full of fun and amazing country entertainment!
Day 3: We arrive in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas for a day packed with options to suit whatever kind of activities you’re looking for.
Day 4: We move the party to another stunning island, Princess Cays, Bahamas, to enjoy the sun, sites, and CCMF style fun!
Day 5: We’re back on the seas, cruising our way back to the Carolinas. But don’t worry, we’re going to end this trip in style!
Day 6: When you wake up (assuming you go to bed), you’ll be back in Charleston, ready to plan for next year!

Where does the ship sail from?
Beautiful, Charleston, SC! And we will have a kick-off party the night before that you won’t want to miss! Details coming soon but take that day off work, too.

Will the cruise have excursions?
Yes! All the normal excursions you would see from Carnival like kissing dolphins and swimming with stingrays, snorkeling and more. CCMC will release some specialty excursions in the coming months to all cruise goers for special meet and greets and excursions with the CMCC country music artists. We can’t wait!

How can we pay for the cruise?
You can do a minimum deposit with Imagine Travel and then work out a payment plan that works for you or pay by credit card.

Are pets welcome?
Unfortunately not on cruise ships. Maybe someday.

What does the CCMF Cruise include?
In addition to admission to all of the amazing performances and on-board events all of the standard items associated with Carnival Cruise line are included. This includes, but is not limited to, meals including 24 hour room service* (except for meals at the specialty restaurants), non-carbonated beverages (i.e.coffee, juices, tea, etc), use of the ship’s beautiful pools, and use of the ship’s health & fitness center.

The price does not include airfare, ground transportation, on-board purchases (i.e. spa services, specialty restaurants, carbonated and bottled beverages, alcoholic beverages, gift shop, etc), gambling, excursions, or travel insurance.

* Additional late night fees may apply.

Since this cruise is non refundable can I buy travel insurance?
The answer is yes, and we highly recommend it.

What is the age requirement for a cabin?
1 person in the cabin needs to be 21 to book. IF someone in the cabin is under 21 they will need 1 guest that is over 25 in the room.

Is there a wait list if the cruise or cabin I want is sold out?

What if I’m bringing my child but the other parent cannot come with me?
That’s ok, just bring a notarized letter with you from the other parent.

Will the artists be on board the whole time?
Many of our artists will be on board the ship for the entire cruise. However, there may be some cases where an artist must join us during the trip or depart early due to schedule or other commitments.
