#CCMFBeKind to the Bahamas!
Cruise Announcements | Nov 8, 2019
We love our CCMF family and they have reached out asking how they can be #CCMFKind to the people affected by Hurricane Dorian that hit the Bahamas in August of 2019. We don’t have an exact list of everything they need, just make sure it fits in your suitcase (no fruits – liquids) and of course no weapons! Here is how Carnival said you can help…
If you are planning on donating our Guest Service manager has asked us to tell y’all to go to Guests Services and they will assist with completing forms required to off load items. Donations are accepted at the port, please have an itemized landing form prepared for Bahamas Customs approval. This landing form should state reason for landing and where the items will be donated.
If there is no exact location Nassau, Bahamas, should suffice. Once this landing form has been approved by Bahamas Customs, guests can drop items off to the office of Bahamas Customs in the terminal. Bahamas Customs will then respectfully accept donations on behalf of the guest and donate them to a charitable organization for the Hurricane relief.
*Please note that as per Bahamas Customs, if there is no specific address to where items will be donated in Nassau, they ask that you address donations out to NEMA.
